walking

Lochalsh and kintail is an ideal base for walking those munros , Corbetts or Grahams.

There are also many excellent walks for the not so adventurous.

In the Kintail Area there are:

24 Munros including Beinn Fhada, Five Sisters and of course the Glen Shiel Ridge which has 7 munros, This is joined with the fabulous Saddle.

12 Corbetts including Am Bathach, Faochaig and Sgurr an Airgid.

For details of all these and many more walks in the area please visit www.walkhighlands.co.uk

A drying room is available and packed lunches can be arranged with prior notice. If a drop of service is required please mention when booking.

Below is some footage taken from the trig-point (413ft) on Beinn Conchra on a very windy, but pleasant walk on the way to the summit (453). The view from here is truly remarkable and hardy walked. Once on the top, the views give way to a '360 degrees' over most of the Wester-Ross.

A most 'overlooked' walk, with many challenges which stands at 453 ft (and right on our back doorstep)

Here you can see Loch Anna, which sits on the top of Beinn Conchra and Eilean Donan Castle in the distance.

So not only the views be fantastic, but the fishing can be pretty good too :)
